Thanks. I used the front of the Truckin 6.5 lift and for the rear I rearced the springs 4in. and added 2in. tapered blocks and Pro Comp shocks front and back.

Evan, I'm sure you could fit 35's but you would have to do some trimming, not quite sure how much though. I like the 33's cus I did'nt trim anything and if I get some good angles it rubs a little on full turn. On the rear, I sent the stock rear leaf springs to a spring shop and had them re-arc the springs 4in. then added 2in. tapered blocks. I did'nt use the rear of the truckin lift because I did'nt want the look of the whole spring hanging down due to the drop down brackets plus it would create a problem with the dual exhaust out the sides.

Anyone interested in buying four BRAND NEW Goodyear Wrangler MTR's? They are size 285.75 R16 (equivalent to a 33x11.50) and have not been used at all.

(if you want) The tires also come with four brand new 16x8 factory wheels from Dodge. These rims are in flawless condition as well.

I am selling this package because I have to trade my Dakota in for a car, and I don't really plan on fitting 33 inch tires on it. So take advantage of this deal because I intend to sell them at a bargain price. If you are interested please email me with questions/comments and I would be more than happy to reply. More pictures are available as well.

Sounds nice. But, I put a Performance Accessories 3 inch body Lift and a Rancho 3 inch Suspension Lift on my 99 Extended Cab for a total of 6 inches. I opted to go with Rancho because it is a reputable company. It has been around for years and will continue to be. Additionally, replacement parts if needed are easily retrievable. Those other companies may make a good product, but my advice to all those contemplating lifting a Dakota should weight the pros versus the cons.

SMR, I'm sure your truck looks and runs great, I'm not trying to say my truck and lift is better or worst than anyone elses, I just kinda did'nt want to go the body lift route to get 6in., I knew what I was getting into before I decided, but I knew I was going to do all the work myself, therefor do the best I could do to make it a strong and functional lift. Also the parts are not a problem, cause if need be I could just fab-up the parts I need, but so far I don't see a problem cause it's been 10mos. so far with no problems, but anythings possible, any lift is capable of braking, our Dakotas have all kind of problems (just read the forms) but we don't get rid of it right, we just fix the problem, same as with anything else. Anyways enjoy your truck, as I do mine.

Hey RideRed, thanks. The front end cost was $1100 w/o shipping. The spring shop charged me $120 to re-arc the rear springs 4in. they said they could do the six but it would cost alot more because the spring pack would need to be lengthened for that extra 2in., thats why I went with the blocks. I,ve since changed the 2in. blocks to 2 1/2 in. blocks to level out the truck, the back was a little too low. I also re-geared to 4.56 for more power, glad I did. Good luck with your truck, if you have anymore questions, just let me know.

Hey thanks for the info. Now did you actualy buy the front end separate from the rear? i was hoping that you could buy them separatly, but i wasnt sure. So you got the 4.56 gears, was that too much, would 4.10 have been better? i bet it feels good to have those gears in with the 33's. what kind of differnce did you feel with the 33's without gears? and how much of an improvement did you get with the 4.56? thanks for everything, hopefuly il be ridin high soon.

Cole, thanks. I'm not sure if you can get the same height as a 4x4 but good luck, I guess anything is possible if you got the know how.
RideRed, you can just order the front separate from them. As for the gears, I actually expected a little more from the 4.56's, so I don't think I would be satisfied with the 4.10's. The differnce in power loss was pretty noticable (I did have the 3.55's) when I went to the 33's, once I changed the gears and the computer adjusted to it the improvement was very good. And yes, my gas mileage is OK, not great, but OK, power wise it was worth it to me. Good luck to you guys with your trucks.
