Subject: question about lifts! IP: Logged
Message: hey, i have a 97 dodge dakota 2WD, right now its just stock height but i got a body lift kit for it, i want to put 33's on it though instead of 31's, whats the best and cheapest way to get it high enough?? i saw fabtech had a 2" basic system suspension lift, would that be high enough? thanks in advance!

Message: Nawwww ... you're gonna need that susp lift plus a body lift to run 33's on a 4x2. Do a little searching of the archives. There were several posts re: this subject. Should find what you need to know there.

Message: ok thanx i'll make sure to check the archives... any 97 2wd people out there put 3 in. body and a 2 in. suspension lift on their truck and ran 33's? also how did it look?

Message: You need both a 3" body AND 3" suspension lift, this is the only way (without anything custom).
