Subject: Shocks for 2" Lift? IP: Logged
Message: I am lifting the rear by 2" with longer shackles and the front by about the same amount by adjusting the torsion bars. Will stock shocks work all the way around? Also, does anyone recommend that I upgrade any other suspension compenents to handle the increased ride height?
I was really thinking about Edelbrock IAS for shocks. I want a good smooth ride on-road and will be doing very little off-roading. Any recommendations?

Message: I did the same to my Durango and the stock height shocks will be fine. You only need different shocks if you go w/ 3" or more of a susp. lift. As far as shock go, I went w/ the Rancho RSX and I have no complaints at all. They take out nearly all of the standard wheel hop that comes w/ the Durango. No other susp. mods are needed unless you want more height or you want to tighten up the ride even further (ie. sway bars).
