Message: Help,
I have been putting on the PA 3" Lift for about 10 hours now. I'm messing with the steering extension. I read what all you guys said about this before I started installing it. However, I did not notice if anyone had tried boring out the inside of the extension to make it fit. I've got it close, but am getting ready to try a Dremmel. What are your thoughts, any negative affects to the integrity of the parts if I follow through with the plan?

Message: Go for it, take a little off at a time and test fit. Try for a tight fit, no slop.

Message: I took a die grinder to mine...about ten times before I got it to fit right. The design wasn't even close. Widdle out your own I guess is what they want you to do. Just do it slow.

Message: Ended up using a die grinder also. After a few trials, got it on. Took it for a test drive and everything seeems nice and tight. That was by far the most difficult part of the lift. But it looks good and I am pleased.
