Subject: 2wd suspension idea

For lifting the front of our trucks, we dont have many choises right? Coil spacers, Longer coils, nd the AIM coil/a-arm lift. Thats about all. I remember somebody saying that you could put coil spacers for a 88-newer chevy 1500 on our daks. Also, the spacers from a 2wd Ram 1500 will work also. Right? So I am asking you 2wd experts if it is possible to put the longer coils from a Ram or Chevy on our Daks to lift it up?

the problem with that , might be the spring rate pressure , it probably is as tall as you can go , but it'll ride like a tank , no bounce , those other trucks are way heavier ..........

Oh, yeah. You gotta good point those rams are DANG heavy. I like the tank reference to the Rams. haha

And with ANY lift more than 2 in. you really need a different upper control arm. it will hit the frame when at droop. So your back to totally custom stuff, or AIM. I though about the larger coils out of an older truck. Really need something stiffer like that in the future when the 318 goes in. Nice thinkin tho.
