Subject: What Lift??? IP: Logged
Message: I have a '97 Dak. I want to put 33's on it. I want to do a suspension lift, but cant decide on what lift to get. I have been looking at the Tuff Country 5.5" and the Rancho 3" kits. I don't want to crank my torsion bars due to the stiffer ride and added stress to the front end components. So I am not sure if I can fit the 33's with the Rancho with no rubbing. I have heard good and bad things about the Tuff Country kit. Anyone out there have any ideas?
Thanks.

Message: Your not going to feel mutch dif in ride . I cranked the torsion bars on my old 99 and I thought it rode a lot better.I olso put an inch block in the rear w/ new ubolts. The dakotas seem to have to mutch body roll from factory.I recently did the same to my 01/ dak QC w/ 32/11.50R15 BFG . on 15/8 welds. Cost about 70 dollars after alighnment and it looks great. You can go 33`s but you will probrably need to do some fender trim. torsion bars are there to adjust ride hieghth. lift kits are going to stiffen the ride also. best of luck on decision matt.
