Subject: Suspension lifts IP: Logged
Message: What are the advantages/disadvantages of a suspension lift over a body lift? Will a suspension lift usually give you more suspension travel than stock? IF so, how much? Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

Message: Susp. lifts, in my opinion look way better than body lifts but are way more expensive. there arent very many different susp lifts out there for daks so it sucks. and any susp lifts there are, are usually more expensive for them too b/c of the rack and pinion steering. to my knowledge there is a 3inch susp lift from Rancho, a 5.5 inch lift from Tuff Country, a 4.5 and 6.5 and 9.5 inch lift from Truckin Susp. and then there is a 10 in from whiplash. obviously the higher u go the more$$$. i have heard that Tuff Country and whiplash both suck but i really dont know. different people have different opinions especially if they are the ones that u are going to pay a lot of money too.
