INVEST as much as you can!!!!! You will be sorry later, if you don't.
If you are feeling like a Sailor on liberty on a payday Friday, and it's burning a hole in your pocket, and if you must blow some on your rig, go with a 2" body and 4" suspension lift combo (more height and less headache). The 3" body lift gets into radiator hoses, electric fans, changing hard brake lines, more mods to your 4x shift lever......should I keep going?
Not a lot of choices on rims, once you get a suspension kit on (voice of experience here). Main thing to consider is what kind of duty will your rig see? I use mine on a monthly basis for pulling a trailer and loading the bed with "stuff".
Farmer mentallity says; "If the tow ball is the right size, or it will fit in the bed, then I must be able to haul it, right?
Each wheel out there has a different load rating. The American Eagle 589's that are so popular also happen to have the heaviest load rating (3,200lbs per wheel?). They are well above what the vehicle is rated at.
As far as mud tires go, have your pick!! Just don't forget to pick up ear plugs on the way to getting them, cause they're gonna sing to ya!!
Do yourself a favor, and buy a set of good ATs for everyday use. They are much quieter and you will be surprised where they will take you off road. I would consider a second set of less expesive rims to mount those mudders on and swap them when you are actually gonna use them.

Message: Hey thanks for the input, not alot of peolpe will take the time to post that much. Well the noise of the tire are no problem, i had a set of mud tires before and had no problem with the noise. I have only $1,000 to deal with. I would like to put on a Suspension lift but they are about $1,300. And then i would have no money for the tires and rims. As for a second set of rims for mud tires, i will put the mud tires on my stock rims and the A/T's on my new good rims. I also pull a trailer about twice a month, and have my bed full of stuff all the time. I go mudding about once a month, and just mud not anything severe or to rough, But i am mainly going for the look of the rig. What kind of truck do you have. What are the choices of rims once i do get a suspension lift on.
