 Subject: Can I Fit These Tires

I was wondering if I can fit a set of 31 x 12.5's on my stock 99 4x4 Dakota. I have a set of Centerline Hellcats 15x8 . They have a slight offset and sit the standard 31 x 10.5 tires out even with the stock flares. I know that I probably shouldn't seat 12.5 tires on the 8 inch rims. Not sure if they'l rub in the turns? Has anyone tried this ? I'm looking for the width and the biggest I could go on a stock truck is the 32" right? HELP ME DECIDE PLEASE

yes you can, I run 31-12.50 on a 15x10 inch rim 2wd lifted 3inches I plan on getting up early tommorrow and I'll take some pics for you that are updated or tommorrow night when I get my lower billet on.

Do you think they will fit without a lift though. That shouldn't affect anything because I'm not going up in size diameter. I'd love to see those pics. Feel free to drop me a line. Nick@rj3.net

try this one just copy and paste it into the address bar. I haven't gotten the new pics yet. a 2wd with a 3inch suspension lift is the same height as a stock 4x4 actually probable a littl lower so you should be fine.

That looks sick with those tires. I love the look . How is it into the turns with those tires when you cut the wheel all the way side to side? Your truck looks just the same as mine. red 99 slt extended cab 4x4 5 speed. Stock height though. It looks about the same height as yours. I'm just curious about the turning?
