Message: ian,
I have few questions for you. Is that a body lift? Or is it a suspension lift? If it is a suspension lift what kind is it and if i may ask how much did you pay? And finally if you did it yourself how much do you charge? That truck looks great!

Message: thanks for the compliments guys, i appreciate it.
jeremy, it's a body lift, add-a-leaf, and cranked TB's. i did all the work myself. i don't do this professionally, but if anyone in SLC wants some help and i have time, i have no problem lending a hand(you just buy the beer).

Message: Ian,
What backspacing did you get on your rims? Also how much did you have to crank your T-bars to get the truck level? Lastly where did you get the add-a-leafs from?
Also your truck looks SWEET!

Message: jerseyboy, i bought the blower from a friend, i believe retail is around $2500(i paid $1k). it took me seven hours to do, total, but that includes two trips to home depot for supplies and cutting out the fender. if you don't have a body lift i think you could do it in 5 hours.
sahara scott, my truck isn't level. i cranked up my TB's a little more than two inches. the add-a-leafs(which are supposed to be 2") are more like 3". i got them from a guy i know who works for tough country. i don't know if you can call them and order them or not. i'm actually contemplating calling fab tech and getting some springs from them.

Message: Ian,
Thanks for the info. Why did you put the add-a-leafs on? Did you have any problems with the rear wheels rubbing? Also what is the backspacing on your rims? Do you rub at all up front?
Thanks

Message: actually, put on the add-a-leaf with the intention of making it level after the TB's were cranked, but because the springs didn't sag the way my friend said, it's now an inch high in the back. i also added the springs because the dakotas rear suspension is about as stiff as the barbie corvette and sagged horribly when i put my dirtbikes in the back and hooked up my trailer. over all, it's probably the most functional mod(accept for the SC of course!) that i've done so far.
my wheels are weld SS w/4.6" of back space. yes they rub a little, very little!
