Hehe, sorry guys. I found this bone stock, untouched 1990 blazer in perfect condition for $3,900 and had to get it. Cheaper than upgrading to solid axles and it gives me a trail vehicle. My Dakota on 33's just won't cut it anymore on tougher trails. I'm keeping my Dakota, it just won't see hardcore trail action. I'm starting off with a 4" lift and 33" Procomp M/T's. I'll be eventually rolling on 38's/ 8" lift/ and 1 ton axles.

I had to mess with you guys a little. I actually thought I'd get a ton of posts wanting to see the swap. Anyway, the Dakota mods will be put on hold a while. I'll probably still get 4.10's put in next month but after that my focus will turn to the K5. It will be a great trail vehicle!
I'll keep you guys updated with the buildup!

boo on you. getting my hopes up. only to be let down. i was really exicted to see it. i'm starting my solid axle swap soon i now have all the part, and yes a real swap on a 92 dak. just got the tires 35x12.5 15. STS mounted on black steel beadlooks, looks so sweet. this rubber is the coolest tires i have ever seen. my springs(leaf) will be here thrusday. can't wait. will keep you all posted starting in 3 weeks.
