Subject: 2" body lifts IP: Logged
Message: One more question guys, I am looking at the PA 2" body lift to add to my 3" Fabtech susp. lift (the 265/75 rub like crazy even when trimmed). All I have found online is the 2" for '97-'99 Daks. I think this will work for my '02 Quad Cab also but just want to double check. Am I correct?

Message: joey, I think that the problem is going to be the bumper mounts and extensions for the shifter if I am not mistaken. I am sure the spacers will work, but the extra stuff may not.
Does anyone know if these items can me customized to fit???

Message: Do you need to add an extension to the steering for a 2" lift?

Message: I had to on my old Ranger so I'm just assuming the dakota would need one. What else might be different between the 2?

Message: I have installed the 2" PA on my '97 4x4 manual. To points points mentioned aboves:
I needed a steering extension (comes with the kit), had to drill new holes to lift the rear bumper (For the front bumper you will get mounting brackets) and weld in an extension to the 4x4 shifter...
I don't know whether the steering extension will fit newer models though.

Message: Might be a tight fit to put the 33's under there because i have a 3in bl and the 31's i have rub even trimmed but with ur extra lift u might be able 2 pull it off
