Message: CHASE,
PLEASE, PLEASE, do NOT put a Truckin Suspension on your Durango. I have heard so many stories about the sh*ty design and fabrication stories towards specificaly the Dakota/Darango. How many inches? 6.5? They also do one for 7.5,8.5,9.5, and so on. I looked into one that they did on my 2000 4x4 Dak, anyone that ever had one lost either their drivetrain or FRAME, that's right it created cracks in their FRAME. Please, anything you do, do not go with Truckin Suspensions or anything that's accompanied with them.

Message: If you have a 99 then you can get the tuff country 5.5 " and crnk it to 6 or even 6.5 inches. It will clear 35x12.50s on " rims.

Message: Corey (4wdakota),
Hey, how did you manage the K&N FIPK when installing the 3" body lift? Did you remove the heat shield box, or modify it, if so how? Also, did you tilt the intake tube up and did it fit under the hood? I need help with mine, I am considering paying a pro to do it. Please let me know. Thanks

Message: Remove the heat shield, cut it if you like and reinstall (I'm just too lazy to do it) The filter needs to slide down a little to give more clearance. The filter rests against the fender and is at a slight angle. It seats on the TB just fine.
You may ave more room, mines a 5.2, yours may be configured a little different
