Message: That sure is funny Fabtech mentions something about a lift spindle. I was at SEMA no less than a month and a half ago (much like many others reading this post) and spoke with the Design Engineer for new products, after showing him pics of my truck and speaking for almost 45 minutes, he stated that there were NO plans for a Dakota lift spindle. I'm sure nothing has changed in that amount of time. Where'd you get that info from Rivermaniac? Something that their own Engineers don't know about?

Message: ***My Email to FABTECH:
Howdy,
I have a 2001 2WD Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4.7 V8. I am very interested lifting it. I have seen other people install the 2000 model 3 inch performance lift on their 2001 or 2002 vehicle, but I would like a 6 inch lift. I heard that you were making a 6 inch lift (combination spindle, control arm). Is this true? If so, I would appreciate any info that you have. Also, if the 2000 lift is put on a 2001 vehicle do you support that?
***Their response:
SORRY we are not planning on building a spindle for that truck @ this time BryanVH
****My response:
I really do not like the way your company "shares" information. I asked two questions and received one answer. If you're not going to make a product according to demand, at least answer the questions about the products you do make.
Does the 2000 3" performance lift work on the later models also??
***Their response part two:
yes
