hey i got my pics posted on the web. yall check out my dakota, its a 2001 4X4 SLT. ive got a 3 inch body lift, torsion bars cranked an inch 1/2, windows tented, flowmaster exhaust, 16x10 inch american racing rims wrapped in 33x12.5 Buckshots. Let me know what you think. peace!

Dude, nice truck. Why didn't u go all the way up that rock??? :) I always go for the top till the truck tips a little...hardcore. It's hard with open differentials i bet.
what happened to ur ex-truck? i got the same dak with that color.

yeah i loved the orange dakota. that color was one of a kind, and i hope to have something else that color one day. i had big plans for it, but anyways i was comming around a sharp corner and i met someone there at the same time and they were in my lane running about 80 mph and taking the turn wide, so i swerved to miss em and i ran off the road, jump the dtich and it put me on the top. i had just spent 650.00$ on that ram air hood too damn it!

yeah i did have to trim a little but not much. i dont rub at all when im going foward, but in reverse when the wheel is cranked as far as it will go, i do rub on the drivers side... but not on the passenger side? lol so i dunno whats up with that. and as for the back spacing, i dunno what it is man. i got the rims used from a guy that had them for a month and decided he didnt like them.

The Safari bars on the front were on the truck when I bought it. Other than that it was stock. They are Westin Safari bars and several online retailers carry them. But I'm not sure where the best deal is. If there is enough interest in these, maybe you can set up a group buy with Jonas. His regular price is $150.99

pepboys sells the safari bar for cheap. like 119.00 and 29.00 for brackets. about the same price but no shipping.
by the way truck looks good I thought I saw some pics of it on dodgetrucks.org a while back glad to see someone else got a 10 inch rim, I'n my opionion the only way to go. and I hardley had to trim.

Sweet looking ride brandon!
Got my safari bar off eBay for a little less than a c note. I already ran over a deer with it LOL! Pulled it back out with a come-along- can't tell it was ever hit. Takes a lickin and keeps on kickin!

Hey got a question.....back to the rims again....my truck is the 98 4x4 CC soon to have a PA 3in. lift and i am starting to like the 15x10in. wheels. I realy like the wide stance that brandons truck has with the 10in. wheel. I used to want the 8in. wheel but the 10in. looks awsome. I will have the 33x12.50 BFG MTs. Do you guys have any pros/cons about a 10in. wheel? Im not worried about trimming the INNER fender well but i would not like to trim too much of the bumper since it will be seen more. Is it possible to run a 10in. wheel without doing too much trimming if i dont mess with the T-bars? Sorry for all of the questions. Thans guys!!!!!!

aight thanks guys, im gonna try and find me one here pretty soon. i think they look damn good with those lights on the front. and as for you A.J., if you do not mess with the t bars you will have to do more trimming. 10 inch rims would rub a lot with out crankin youre t bars. but if you did then you would still have to do just a little trimming, but not mcuh. and no prob about all the qustions, lol hell we're all been there at one time man! thanks guys!

I was just wondering if the whels off of a newer Dakota (15x8-6X4.5) will work on my 1992 Dakota. It has 15x6-6x's. I'm not sure about back spacing. It has a 3 inch body lift on it.

I have a Chrome Safari Bar that was on my wifes 02 Dak for about 3 months before I took it off for winter so it's Like New. It has two Chrome Pilot 5" Round Lights mounted, I got mine at the best price I could find and over $300 invested with lights. I have a Street Scene Bumper Cover that is going on once the dam snow stops and it looks like the safari bar will not fit now so I am probably going to sell it. Let me know If you are interested and what you think is a fair price along with where you live(shipping). I think Pep Boys sells the chrome safari bar for approx $259-269 + $29 for mounting brackets. You can see pics of the wifes Dakota in the same photoalbum you checked out for my Dak to see the safari bar/lights mounted to her Dak.
If you don't want it, I will post a thread on it and then onto ebay if nobody else does either:)
