Subject: changing front end lift IP: Logged
Message: any info you guys may have would be helpful.
i have a 01 sport with a 3" body and 2" coil spacer in front running 33 m/t's i want to chage this out with the fabtech 2" basic (http://www.natltire.com/ntw0799/pages/fabtech11.html) if i am correct i will lose 1" of lift in the front, right? because the coil spacer actually lifts the front end 3"'s. am i correct on this? also, am i going to increase my downward travel once this is in?
thank you
bleu

Message: dont expect more downtravel because the lift will only force the arms further down closer to their limits

Message: I doubt you would gain that much downward travel maybe 1/2 an inch. It would probable be more worth your while to get fabtechs a-arms and keep the 3inches of height you have. plus 33's with 2inch coils will probable be a pretty tight fit.

Message: i can use fabtech's a-arms with stock wheels? what im lookin for is to take out some of the 'roughness' in the ride when driving-whether its on or off road.
