Well, I figured that since our compatriots over on the "my truck is a dragster" board (otherwise known as the performance board) always seem to have the great 4.7 vs 5.9 vs 5.2 vs the world debate and that for some unknown reason we NEVER have those kind of arguments on the Off Road or Lifted boards that something must be wrong with us. So, I figured we dont want to be left out of whatever great thing there is to be gained so here you are!! :-p
(I was kinda bored too)

Hey stranger! Thought you ran away on us. I just bought a pair of tow hooks today for mine today. Seems that with a 3 inch body lift your front bumper is up to the bottom of the frame and you can just put a plain old fashion hook right on it. :-)

Nah, just been lurking in what little free time I have had lately. Work has been keeping me real busy since 9-11 :o( Cool that the regular $10 a pop tow hooks work for you now. See how much money you saved by raising your truck!! Don't think I'll be raising mine anytime soon but I can say it still has much more ground clearance than the Mustang!!! ;o)

Lesley, I am happily married and my wife loves her 4x4 Durango but if I werent you would be getting a plane ticked to Florida from me. I have an orange and green dakota on 36's ground hawgs soon to be 38's swampers as soon as i can get ahold of the guy who has them. But I'll outmud any of your little dakotas that you think are big and bad with their 33's and 32's. wow! I wish my truck was low enough to make 33's look big. Miles, I am in Florida and my truck can hold its own thank you very much. My whole point was that we dont have that kind of BS over here. We all like each others trucks and are not trying to see who is badder than who because MOST of us really dont care. I have seen people with that kind of attitude before and they are the ones that I just smile and wave at as I drive by and leave them stuck, not stopping to lend a hand, and if you go off road any you will get stuck at some point and time. You sound more like a chevy owner than a Dak owner. Ok, wait. Before I get ruffled. Miles are you really serious or just messing around?

Another point to this.. Kind of... The only thing limiting people on making THE BAD A$$ DAK. Is money & time.. if anyone of us won the lotto we'd drop a whole bunch of that into our trucks. But some of us have familys, college, other lifes, other intrests that take up our time & money so we can't build the truck we want to TODAY. We all get idea's from eachother and build off those. Everyone wants there own truck not one that looks just like there neighbors. And really.. So what.. i have a 2005 Dak w/ a 454 v8 in it and 48" tires SO THERE.. btw.. Hawkeye pulled me out last weekend.. he fit his whole truck in one of my ruts. ;-)

Well..... if it's a contest and it's all apples and oranges anyway, my ride can beat all of yours in the offroading department. Swamps, trees and fencelines no problem. Only one horsepower though... Thoroughbred/Belgian jumping hunter guy. He ain't green & orange either.

Knobby you hit the nail on the head. Most of us have family's and a ton of bills, and in my case dont exactly make a 6 digit salary. I am DAMN proud of what I have been able to do to my truck. If your truck is truly bigger and badder than everyone else then congratulations and more power to you.
