Message: Well, first off it depends on what size tires you want, what type of tires you want, and what type a lift you may be planning to install on your truck.
The wider the tires the more need for additional backspacing.
Mud tires require a little more backspacing then All-Terrains (usually).
A body lift can easily be run with stock rim backspacing, were using the Rancho lift and 12.50 inch wide tires would need a backspacing more like 4.5 instead of 5.5.

Message: I have a a 2wd with a 3 inch body lift and 2 inc coil spacers. I want to run 32 or 33's. i want no or barely any rubbing. what would u suggest be the best backspacing. thanks

Message: To avoid rubbing, I would go with the 32's on that setup with a backspacing around 4.5". You could probably get away with any backspacing between 4" and 5" without rubbing. The 33's are probably going to give you rubbing no matter what the backspacing on that setup.
