Subject: 3" PA lift without new tires?
IP: Logged

Message:
Anyone have pictures of their BL with stock 16" tires on it? I want to lift mine, but I don't want to pitch the GY tires that are on it yet (only 24,000 miles).

Thanks

I just put a 3" PA body lift on my 2000 quad cab. I had to wait about 1 week before I was ready to install new eagle 589's w/ 33"x12.50 BF Googrich AT's. Let me tell you, it looks real dumb with stock 31" tires / wheels on a lifted truck. -Just my opinion. It's well worth the investment.

I Put my 3" PA body lift on my '99 and I thought it looked fine with my stock rims and 31" tires. Still not good enough for me, but ok. I just changed my rims to EA 058s 15x10 and still have 31's on. When I went with the new rims I had to trim the front fenders a little to avoid rub. But I think I am going to have to go with a Suspension lift if I want to keep the same rims and use a bigger tire. If you would like to see pics just email me at smokndodge@hotmail.com

this might be a bit different because i have 6 inches of lift, but when i installed both lifts, i had my 235 dueler mt's on it.

chaximus,
That turned out pretty nice. Good job. Are the new treads loud? They look it. Been thinking about GY ATS's as they might be a little more tolerable.
