Subject: Cheap Lift for 97 IP: Logged
Message: I was wondering the cheapest way to lift my 97 Longbed Sport Regular cab. I want to lift it 3" all around and try to get 33x12.50 tires on it. I've heard about the blocks in the back, but what about the front? and will I be able to fit 33's ? Thanks for your help

Message: Summit Racing sales a Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift for $160-170 and it's pretty easy to install yourself. They sale the gap gaurds for about $70 you just have to ask for them. The only other cost is the 4wd shifter extension; I just did like some other guys on here and extended it with a piece of all-thread. I run 33's on my with the stock rims and get some minor rubbing in tight turns, you just have to get used to it.

Message: Mine is 2wd,and I was thinking of putting blocks in the back and coils in the front, or spacers. Also, anyone have Flowmaster single in, dual out?
Can I get a deep, loud, throaty sound from my 3.9? Thanks

Message: I have a Flowmaster single in/dual out on my 5.2L and it sounds great. I haven't heard one on a 3.9 though.
