To all that are interested in the Rancho lift install , the new April 03 issue of Off Road, has an installation of the kit on a 99 Durango... I know , I know it`s not a Dakota , but the front susp. is the same , so it should be helpful for you do-it-yourselfers.
BTW...the refer to it as a 4in kit?!

I just got off road adventure and it had a Rancho install on a Ram it said it was 4", and it was a ram but I think it referenced the Dakota name somewhere.
Maybe this is what he saw.

Nope , not that magazine forexfour. I subscribe to a few of the magazines and Off Road is one of them. I just recieved it in the mail yesterday , so it should hit the stands anyday now. It is definately the 3in Rancho kit being installed on a 99 Durango. Keep an eye out at the magazine stores for it.

I`m well aware that kit has been out for a while , but the front end is pretty much the same on 97-99 trucks as 00-03 with the exception of the steering set-up.
Guess I just figured with all of the talk around here about installing the (new) Rancho kit , 00 and up, that this would be a good example of what to expect for those interested in doing it themselves.
