Subject: 315/70-17's on the way! IP: Logged
Message: I just ordered a set of 315/70-17's A/T KO's from Discount Tire! Gonna miss my 33" Xterrains, but wanted 35's that are a little more well mannered for the highway. My gas mileage is bad enuff already and it's only gonna get worse with 35's let alone if I got another M/T treaded tire lol. I like the look of the KO's with tread that carries down onto the sidewall, It's the most aggressive look A/T I have seen.

Message: That's what I ordered, the 17x8 Eagle 219's lol. I got the 5" backspacing, the 3.75" would be too much with 35's. Why did you take them off your truck? Do you have any pics with those wheels on? Thanks!

heres some pics of them. the reason I took them off is they didn't come out past the fender flare's and I really wanted the x terrains.
I have the 5.00 backspaceing as well because initally my truck was dropped with street tires. so it would have looked gross with the 3.75.

Message: As long as their isn't any damage, pits, etc. I don't need any pics. I have a dremel wheel for polishing, takes some of the elbow work out of it:) According to UPS website calculations, using a shipping weight of 26lbs(wheel is 24lbs according to eagle website) and boxes of no larger than 18x18x9, it would run $16.83 for each box shipped to my zipcode UPS ground(3-5 days), not too bad if you have boxes that are around that size, if not a local tire place prolly would give some wheel boxes to you since they just throw'em out anyway? So how much you want for them? Figure total shipping between $68-75.

Message: Sorry, BlackDak02 has already offered to buy my wheels/tires. I'm really not worried about some dings or scratches, nothing they won't get after I have had them on a few weeks:) I had been thinking around $450 shipped, so if you wanna go $475 shipped, that would be a fair price and will save me about $200 from what I was going to pay for new ones through wheelsforless.com. Those do come with the centercaps right? I can paypal or send you a money order, whichever you prefer, just need to let me know if my offer is OK and when you think they might be ready to go out. I'll cancel my wheel order in the morning if were all set. Thanks.

Message: you got mail. let me get an exact on shipping tomorrow. I have to get my mud terrians off of them. how do you remove tires from rims anyway or will I have to get a tire place to do it.
I'll try and get some boxes tommorrow and I can send them out tuesday depending on whats involved with removeing the tires. I'll agree to $475.00. that was some nice negotiation some people take negotiateing like its a sport lol.
yahoo would only let me attach a few pics, I searched them for pits and didn't find them. the pic of the small scratch on the lip is the worst one. I think its from installing tires though.
hit me back up with what you think. name address etc. I'll do the same.

Message: You've got Mail with all my info! I always make sure I know(or think:) what an item is worth before I start negotiating:), I treat it more like a job than a sport lol. A tire shop will need to dismount those mudders for ya, make sure its a reputable place so they don't damage my new rims;)

Message: I have some friends that work in discount tire so I'll go there. I havn't decided on payment yet. I'm reveiwing pay-pals user agreement now. Is there any fees involved? thats my main concern also how do you get the funds out of the paypal account? It appears they make money by keeping funds in interest bearing accounts/ money markets. as a licensed 401k rep the money market part bothers me as with the economy being so low most funds are down.

Message: No, they have two types of accounts, the one you want is just the normal account that doesn't bear interest. You withdraw the money be electronically depositing it into your checking account at no fee. The only catch is to receive money they charge you a fee, can't remember if it is 2.5% of the whole thing or just a portion. I can just send you a money order if you want, it may be easier. Email me all your mailing info when your ready to ship and I will drop the $$ same day in the mail. If you do go the Paypal route, use my account as a reference(rmorrow@twcny.rr.com) and they supposedly give me $5 for signing you up, if they do I will add that to the amount I send you($480 total), reducing the fee they charged you to receive money by almost half:)

Message: keep in mind pay-pal did just amend there user agreement. so check on the fees. I didn't finish reveiwing it but got about 5 pages into it and show no fees but that they will keep fees in interest bareing pooled accounts.
