Message: had a 3 " body lift installed...Looks Great,,,
but I get this noise coming from the steering wheel??
- sounds like the steering is loose when I go over something hard/rough (like snow), Is this loose feeling normal after a body lift?

Message: It's not normal. Go back and retighten the steering shaft extension. That thing needs to be on there REALLY tight. Don't have a torque spec for it, but you'd never be able to fit a torque wrench into that spot anyway.
Mine loosened up a bit after driving it for a month or so...felt like there was a little bit of play in the steering wheel. I retightened the extension and it's been fine ever since.

Message: WELL HELL YES it could be dangerous. Anybody can figure that out. If it is the steering extension and it is loose what do you think will happen? The truck will just magicaly drive home by itself.

Message: You may want to check and see if the knuckle of the steering shaft is hitting the motor mount. When I put in the adapter and re-attached the knuckle, turning the wheel caused the corner of the flat edge to hit the motor mount. Couldn't believe it but checked on here and found some others that had the same problem. Some grind the knuckle others grind the motor mount. Called PA and they acknowledged others have called witht the same problem. Tech guy recommended grinding the motor mount. I didn't like that solution so we got creative, flipped the shaft and put the adapter up by the firewall.
