Subject: Turned 55 need a body lift IP: Logged
Message: My son who is 19 said 3 inch, I say 2 inch, getting older now, Got to be able to get in it!! 99 Dak, 4x4, 5.2, only mod from stock is gibson cat back duals. Would like to run stock wheels with larger tire,what would look good!! Need second set of rotors, or would consider new wheels! Seriously, can anybody give me some suggestions? Found this site 2 days ago, love it, you guys have a great site with lots of info. Thanks! Coach Frank

Message: Nice to see someone's enthused about this site too! I just ordered (but haven't recieved yet) A performance accesories body lift. Everyone on this site seems to suggest it over the trailmaster or whatever other company it is. They come in 2 and 3 inch and can bee foind at jcwhitney.com 4wheelparts.com and many other places.

Message: I would go with the 3" lift if you are wanting to run larger tires. The 3" will allow you to run 33's fairly comfortably. If you are staying with the stock tires, a 2" might look better. On another note, I believe they are the same price, so you might as well go for that extra inch. If you decide to run larger tires later on, you will be kicking yourself if you don't.
