OK, a stock 4X4 ClubCab Dakota can run 33X12.5's on 15X8 stock rims with some trimming (My friend runs this setup). What I would like to know is if I level my truck (2wd clubcab) using 2" coil springs (fabtech) and add a 3" body lift, can I also fit 33's on my truck????? The 33X12.5" tires actually only measure out to about 31 and 3/4 inches and I could buy new rims if I really need to. Please help, need to know ASAP!!!

Also, my truck will NEVER see any off-road action except maybe some dirt roads/trails (NO ROCKS!). I don't need a whole lot of wheel travel.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

It won't matter if you go off-roading or not, you will have to trim just to drive down the road (mainly turning and reverse)! I had to trim more than a little with a 3" body lift AND 3" suspension lift to fit 33x12.5's. I am running 15x10 rims, but a 15x8 isn't going to be much better. If you don't want to trim, a 32 is your best bet, otherwise you'll be cuttin' away!

You can fit 32x11.50's without any lift. If you have the factory 15x7 rims there will be no rubbing. If you have the 15x8s there will be some minor rubbing but nothing bad enough to hurt anything. On my website, there is a link to my photo albums. There are some pics there of mine under the pre lift folder with 32x11.50's and no lift.
