Subject: front end lift IP: Logged
Message: i have a 95 dakota 4x4 with a 318 and i'm wanting to put add a leafs on the rear and i was wondering if there was something i could put on the front to raise it up even with the rear

Message: i dont know what the front setup is on the older daks
but either coil springs or coil spacers

Message: It’s a 4x4, it doesn’t have coil springs, it has torsion bars. A popular method is to crank up the torsion bars to level the truck. It does however stiffen the ride and increase the stress on front-end components. Items like ball joints, CV boots and such will have a reduced service life.
