Subject: PULLING LINES? IP: Logged
Message: I know that a 3" lift wont fit a 91-96 dak. but i want a 3". I hear that the Trans. and Brake lines pull to tight and that they are stretch out to the max. can i put in longer lines and/or flex lines to make this 3" body lift work, also where do the lines pull at.

Message: Yes, the brake lines do not have enough flex from the master brake cylinder to the frame rail. The auto trans lines will come in contact with the stock radiator fan.
You could intsall longer brake lines from the master cylinder, and go with an electric fan on the radiator. You may still have trouble getting your transfer case to make its full throw. See, the higher you put that opening in the floor that the shifter goes through, the less to and frow movement you have with the transfer case shifter. It tends to hit at the front and back of that plastic trim piece on the floorboard.
