Subject: 2WD Combination Lift IP: Logged
Message: I am considering getting a 3 inch PA body lift and the Fabtech 2 inch suspension lift. Does the suspension lift make the front end of the truck look higher than the back end of the truck? Does anyone have the 2 inch suspension lift on their truck?

Message: I'm also thinking about this set up. Already have the 3" PA Body Lift. Would be very interested in hearing feedback from anyone who has this setup.

Message: Check out Tallquad's page. He has 3" PA lift and 3" Fabtech lift and has some info on his website that you might be interested in.

Message: Yup, seen Tallquad's many times. I'm looking specifically for the 3" body & 2" Fabtech combo. By the way, you ever check the gap between your steering knuckle and the motor mount? It maybe different with the 97, but after more searches it appears the rubbing is more common than I thouhgt. Some grind the motor mount, some grind the knuckle. I flipped the shaft and put the spacer up by the firewall so the connection to the R&P was still semi-stock in nature.

Message: Traumer, I did check mine and it appears to have plenty of room. It's not close to rubbing anything. The setup on my 97 must be different, although I don't know why it would be.

Message: I had a 2inch fabtech kit on before I went to a 3 inch kit. It makes it look level or maybe a 1/2 an inch higher in the front. The rear springs are already 1 1/2 inch higher than the front stock.
Wouldn't want any other!

Message: To all you 2wd guys out there. i think i came up with a good idea. alright when you put a coil spacer (2") on it pulles the upper control arm down so it is hitting the frame right? Well if you put a ball joint spacer(2") on, it would bring the upper arm back to the normal hight. so you would get the lift you want to run bigger tires. please tell me if im wrong.
thanks

Message: I wouldn't put anything on the rear if you are only doing a 2 inch suspension lift (Leveling). The three inch kit comes with the 1 1/2 inch add a leafs or you can buy them seperately. Go more than that and you might want to go into the shackles.
Wouldn't want any other!
