Message: Keith, the entire front end is off of a ram, I beleive it's a 1500, so then it's a Dana 44.

Message: Jake had a DANA 44 front end out of an early bronco. It was a high pinion , reverse rotation unit. It had Chevy knuckles on it from what I can remember. I spoke with him and the guy(shop) that built it , but it was a couple of years ago and I don`t remember everything. There were also some things neither would tell me. They were trying to be helpful without devulging (sp) all of their secrets.
A full size RAM axle is wider than the one he used , also I think the pumpkin is on the wrong side to mate up to the transfer case.
I heard (here if I remember correctly) that he replaced the running gear with one ton units , but I never saw it or spoke to anybody directly about it.

Message: Oops, I thought the whole setup was off a Ram. The suspension is based on a Rams 4 link.
