Subject: tires with a 2' body lift IP: Logged
Message: My name is jeff and first of all i would just like to say thank you to all the people who helped me in my time of need. This site is kick ass and a cool place to hang out an get info. Now about my tires. I have a 1996 dak with a 2' body lift from performance accesories. How big of tires can i fit under my rig with them being functional but also not looking too big. Also how wide are my stock rims. I think they are 11.50 but i'm not shure.
Thanks a million

Message: yes i had a little trouble with that. You are probaly gonna have to take the shifter out and have a extention welded in. I havent really tried to get the truck into 4 wheel low but i will check and let you know.
ps i found some clear corners and side headlight reflectors for our year. Just thought you might be intrested.

Message: greg: I have a '97 with a 2" PA lift installed. I tried to adjust my 4x4 lever at the linkage to the transmission, but it popped either out of 2H or 4L. I had to take the boot off until I welded the extension in. I also read that some people extended the lever by using extension nuts and all-threads...
