Message: Truckin = Crap
For a Gen III 2wd you can get a 2" or 3" lift from Fabtech
For older trucks get the 2" rough country lift from JC Whitney
Stay away from Truckin Suspension

Message: that sucks. It was the only place I could find a true lift kit for my truck and a 3" kit at that eveything else is just coil spacers (2" Max) and since I have heavy duty springs in the front my ride is stiff enough. If you dont mind my asking why does the Truckin kit suck for the older 2wd daks. Plus I was looking for Body lift kit but it does not fit the 2wd, I was told If I had 4x4 shop make a extention for the stearing shaft the 4x4 kit would fit but I would prefer a testes setup and not some junk the guy at the shop welded up.
Thanks for the input

Message: Not sure about the bodylift. I know a lot of Gen I guys have put the 4wd lift on the 2wd without problems. A reputable 4x4 shop can handle it.
Truckin gots its bad name from the junk lift it sold to knobbyman and the junk shackles Chaximus got. before these 2 cases they already had a bad name from guys who used there lowering kits. You're better off with a reputable company.
Get the 3" body lift put on and the 2" spacers. You may also want to get stock Dodge coils made for a truck with a larger engine than yours. (V6 coils on a 4 cyl or V8 coils on a V6) that will give you a little more lift and stiffen things up a bit for the heavier tires.

Message: Thanks for the input. My truck already has larger springs in it. I Guess if I want to lift it it has to be body lift and coil spacers. thanks
