You should be able to have it installed for less than $1,000 bucks.
I don't know how you would find a good shop though.

I live in an apartment and have no tools. I'm not much of a mechanic either. I need a pro to do it and give me a warranty on the work.

If I were you, I would just flip through the Yellow Pages and call a few shops in the area and see how much they would charge. I'm sure they could atleast give you a ballpark number without you bringing the truck in.

I'll make some calls this week and see what I find out. I was thinking mabey there was a chain of accessory stores that were known for doing that kind of work.
Oh well. Thanks anyway. I won't even bother with it if it's too expensive.

I just got that lift for my 2002 Dodge Dakota 2wd. I bought the kit and got it installed for $580. I probably could have got a better deal on this lift, but he's going to cut me a better deal when I get the Fabtec 3" lift.

$1000!!!!! Holy crap man. Go to summitracing.com and order the lift from them. $170. I'm sure you can find a local shop to install it for a few hundred bucks. I got mine installed for $200. Good luck, and it looks great when it's done. Well worth the $370.
