Subject: 2" Fabtech Basic Lift

Message:
Has anyone at all used this lift and successfully used the stock wheels and 31/10.50 tires? America's tire co states they can fit 31/10.50 tires on a stock 2wd 5.2l V8 extended cab dak. I'm not so sure about that. It says that it's the max tire size on their charts though. I wish someone had some damn spindles for this truck I would just get those. The basic kit is really cheap and I don't really want fabtech's "performance" kit because it's more expensive and all I really want to do is level the truck and have 31's. I do however not want a body lift. Any input appreciated.

I think you can fit them with the two inch but you may need to trim a little plastic away from behind the front tires

Well that's good news, looking for some more.... Fabtech has on their site that stock wheels will not work with this application but it's kind of vague. I'm thinking they are just saying that for their 3 " lift because of the different control arms. I just want to make sure I can use the stock wheels, 31's and the 2".
