what the hell are bead locks? kinda new to the whole 4x4 thing. im going to put 12.50's on an 8in rim and i hear something about bead locks...what are they? would i need them running them on a stock 15x8 rim?

Bead locks are used to hold the tire to the rim when you're running at really low pressures. You don't need them and probably don't want them unless you fourwheel a lot at less than 10 lbs and never drive on the road because they leak and are illegal.
