While maybe Marc shouldn't have callled you a dumbazz, he is right, you can already do that with the search engine. For your suggestion to work, there would have to be absolute answers for the effectiveness of all mods, some of this stuff is open to debate, and some varies due to individual circumstances.

What "another mark" is saying is just keep a record of what other people have tried as modifications. A lot of amateur enthusiasts (myself included) look to this site for lots of info. A repository of possible modifications and links to applicable past submissions would be very useful. Also valuable would be a forum on manufacturers, suppliers and builders who service the Dakota. Often, good things have been said while others have been flamed. It is hard to know who to do business with and it would be in the interest of good business to contribute to this site as many often do (KRC Performance and Southeast Dakota). Their input is greatly appreciated. And, the search engine on this site is not very good and will not rank results based upon a reliable algorithm. Sometimes it takes a very long time to gauge what you are reading is sound advice and a compete record what was done. You guys that continue to throw epithets around destroy the community of this site. Learn some self-control...

Marc_ is right...search, search, search. We do have a record of stuff that has been said in the past and it's called the " archives " and easily accessible with the " search " feature. If you want info on the KRC 212 cams try searching "cams", or "KRC", or "212", etc, etc. I want to know about a 2/3 drop and some opinions, should I A: post an entirely new thread adding to the 1000 other threads about 2/3 drops or should I B: search the archives for " 2/3 drop ". If I wanna know what muffler would sound the best or which tint would look the best on my ( yes I said my and I'm a moron cuz' I can't make up my own mind about what I want on MY truck and need other people to make it for me ) should I post or search ??? Search, search, and search.......then post.

The lantern man is actually an interesting story. It goes back to the times of George Washington. He had one of his men hold a lantern up on the side of a river so the army could find where they wanted to get out of their boats. When they found the man, he was frozen solid standing there holding the lantern.
