Message: I would like to replace my o2 sensor ( the one before the cat ) and I checked on the Bosch website and it gives 2 different part #'s for them. One is OE type sensor before cat. One is Universal type before sensor. What is the difference, and which should I get. Or is there a better brand to get then Bosch?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Message: I wont profess this to be true - however I bought the universal ones - p# 15734 ( I think is the part#). I think the difference is the wiring harness - the universal one you have to cut and wire your self. (make sure to get the that cool little tool to get them out too - like a socket w/one side cut out so the wire can slip out, and you get mucho better grip.)
I bought the universal cause it was like $70, and the OEM one was like $150+ or something ridiculus like that.

Message: You're exactly right Zen. The universal comes with a "box" that you use to splice the wires from your factory unit.
