I asked the local tranny guy about this a while back. There are 2 different versions of the 700R4 one of which is hooked to thier v-6's and the other to v-8's. The most important difference is the materials. Same with a TH350 or a TH400 only they have no OD. As you move up through those 4 tranny's they replace more aluminum with steel. You gain reliability and strength but you also gain more and more weight.

You are un informed, because Sars came from South east Asia and spread by people coming here. The robotic arm your space program uses is canadian made, along with the avrow arrow but the US didn't have the technology to make it so they bought it, so they could replicate it.If you knew anything about vehicles, you would know that pieces of all so called american made vehicles are made in other countries, just assembled into the final product down there.

Maybe you need better information, the technology used for making everything that is made out of country comes from the USA. The reason it is produced in other countries is because Spics, Gooks and Canuks work for nothing.

Lets see. I do believe that all of the cattle that were contaminated with "MAD COW Disease" where purchased from Canada. So, what were you saying about diseases? At least Americans know better than to feed left over cattle parts to other cattle. It's against the law in America!
Also, Canada still manufactures Asbestos and exposes the citizens of it's country to the hazards of asbestos. Sounds like I real nice place to live, doesn't it?

the ywo versions of 700r4 wre for the 2.5 4s to3.4 v6s the other was for the 4.3 an the v-8s,the 2004r was for buicks,pontiacs,and olds mostly.its a whole lot stronger than the 700r4.

You must be from another planet. Oh, you’re from CANADA. I guess they don't teach history in Canada. WE put the first man on the moon in 1969 and now we are going to put the first man on MARS.
What has Canada done? "uh uh uh uh, We built an arm". The U.S. designed the arm. We sub-contracted it to Canada. The U.S. Government still contracts most of their work out to "THE LOWEST BIDDER". I guess Canada was so desperate to have something (an arm) in space that they made sure that they under bid everyone else. That's really something to brag about. Canada must have real issues with depression and suicide, being the only non-3rd world country in the world to not have contributed anything significant to improve the way people live in this world. If you’re trying to "Bash" America buddy, you and your S-10 on steroids need to walk on water across the pond and become a Shiite Muslim or something. You might fit in over there.
