Message: Ive got a kenne bell on mine and they tell me you can run the 7psi pulley on 93oct. and the 10psi pulley with 100+oct. and keep everything stock. Ive tried the 10 psi pulley on the street and found the 7 psi pulley works much better for daily driving in my opinion.

thanks sharp for the valid response, how much power did you gain with just the Scharger? and how many miles have you had the SC on for?

anywayyy, considering im on my 2nd 360 block in a 60,000 mile truck, i'd say you have to take damn good care of it to last with a s/c. my first motor died due to oil starvation, but anyway, with a cast bottom end, if you run more than 11 psi every day, youre begging for trouble. 6-8 on good gas, youre ok. 9-11 with alky injection and great gas, you should be ok. 12+ bye bye pistons!
hope it helps.

Message: Sorry but I was looking at so many 4.7L stuff I didnt notice you were talking about the 360. But in case you cared this may or may not help. Otherwise go by afi360s advice, hes got it right. On my 4.7L I am told with my mods of free flow exaust and intake kit that comes with the blower and computer upgrades I have, that it should be about 130hp+ extra. Probably around 100hp with just the blower kit. Maybe a little more. I plan on installing the H.O. cams, headers (maybe) and the 100 shot nitros. This I will definantly have to run good gas and only 7psi., tops, or like afi360 says the pistons will go bye bye.
