F*** Mopar and Honda. Mostly Old Parts And Rust. Chevy Trucks are the off-road leaders. Chevies don't break down like Chrysler products. Good thing they come with a longer powertrain warrenty. The last time I saw a Chevy in the transmission shop was last week. Now there is three Rams in there and a F-150. Mopar equals slow car.

Mopar has had their tranny issues, we know that.
But f*ck if Chevy hasn't been about the worst!

I lived in the mountains until recently. They would test drive the new Chevy trucks with loads on them and the trucks would be disguised with tape and black covers but you could still tell they were a Chevy.

Anyway, they would be towed off of the mountains all the time. I wonder if they ever fixxed their tranny problems?

If Chevy's are so tough off rough, why do they sell frame repair kits for them? No one sells frame repair kits for DODGE. I've never seen a Dodge with a broken frame that wasn't in a wreck. Go to any web page that sells off-road supplies and parts for Chevy trucks and they have all these laser-cut and die-formed pieces to weld in and repair the frame where they are prone to break. HAAAA!!!WHAT A PUSSY PIECE OF SH!T!!!

A good friend of mine had the frame of his 454ss break in three different places and his truck only saw street use and it never pulled a trailer. What a P.O.S.!!

Chevy SUCKS!!

If you want a real truck buy a Dodge. Even Ford and Toyota make better trucks than Chevrolet.

There's a reason Dodges out weigh Chevys and Fords. STEEL!!!! Dodge has more of it and therefore the frames don't break!!

weak frames?i think you guys are stretching a little bit on that one.its gettin' really old how you bring up the piston slap EVERY TIME,especially since only a small number of engines built since'99 do that.BTW wiplash the only frame repair kits i've seen are for the spot under the steering-box.i seen it in a catalog right next to the steering shaft repair kits for 72 to 93 dodges.i don't have anything against dodges, but when y'all pull sh*t out of your ass i've got to respond(yes i know that GM preformance was a ass for posting this)i think this tread will go awhile

I never bought a Chevy truck for the reason that bthe frames are week. I'm not pushing anything. All my friends and relatives are 90% Chevy owners and all of them have had issues with the frames on them. I made up my mind in the 70's that I would never own a Chevy truck. Back then at least 1 out of 10 that had been over loaded in the bed had a bent frame. They all sagged right where the cab and the bed meet. That's facts. I'm sure they are better today than they were 20 years ago. My dad and I were still driving a 1966 Dodge beater truck up until 5 years ago. We used it primarily to hall fire wood. I've stacked a quard (0ver 4,000#) hundreds of time on the back of that truck. None of the Chevys my relatives and friends had could do that without damaging the frame. I put side boards on my 93 Dakota and did the same thing with no damage.
