i would go as far to say he may have "kept up" with the vette.i have an 02 r/t and i raced an early 90s vette one night,and into my 3rd gear i had him by a truck length.granted,it was the most beater vette ive ever seen and probably had 200k on the odo.so please dont say i think i can whoop any vettes ass,please.im only saying the late 80s early 90s arent alot to brag about,especially if they are ragged.

and another part of his post,the r/t he spanked was more than likely stock.doubt he even beat it. i have a "slightly modded" truck and i havent came across a 4.7 or 318 that i havent beat!

you're all wrong the porche 911 gt2 is the fastest mass produced car with 11 flat quarter. i don't know about faster but the c-5 corvette could hang with the 69 zl1.
