Message: I have 315/40/zr/17 on mine. They dont stick out, They are a lot wider than stock, a little bit lower profile than stock, They are a little too wide for the rim, but they dont rub, or scrape, and my truck is lowered 3 inch in front and 4 in the back. I could fit a wider tire on the truck, but not without wider rims. A taller tire would fit too, but who wants that? Lower=better.

Message: I ran the 275/50/17 Nitto NT450's when I had my Dak. This is an excellent performing tire for all season use and tended to stick better than the BF goodrich G-force KDWS and the stock eagles. The treadlife was also impressive with over 25,000 miles and over 50% tread still remaining.

Message: I do not have a pic, but I will try to get one in a few days. They look amazing, and hook really well. I am running a kumho ecsta-supra and they hook, and handle very well, but the tread life kinda sucks. I did have pirelli p-zero's, and they wouldn't hook on any pavement, no matter how sticky. If I can get a pic, I will post it asap.

Message: I have 315/35/17 Nitto 555R's on the rear of my R/T. They are O.K. in the rain when new but after a burnouts they are scarry in the wet. They really have too low a profile for racing in a truck application. My next set are going to be Kuhmos for street and M/T ET streets for the track. Here is a picture of the rears

email me if you want a larger picture with better res.

Message: Those are pretty damn wide for a 9" rim, but I know a guy with a Cobra on 17x9s who run 315 as well. Must work ok then I guess.
Any shots from the front?

Message: Hey Wider, careful generalizing. Lower tires=higher final drive ratio. If that's what you want then lower is better. However, if you're having traction problems under acceleration then taller is better. It will decrease the final drive ratio and enlongate the contact patch in the direction of force.
Taller=better traction under hard acceleration
Shorter=better cornering traction.
Ever notice what a top fuel dragster's rears look like once they start turning? Taller than wide. While a Grand Prix or indy car's tires are wider than tall.

My gallery has a front picture but it is small and hard to see the tire. http://dtw.truckmoxie.com/mygallery.ten?id=3557
I have larger high res. pics if you email me. By the way I think all Cobra R wheels, at least from the factory, are 9.5" wide.
What color is your truck? That looks good.
