Message: Useing the stock intake box, remove the air snorkel and the rubber flap on the same side as the air box. Buy some 3in dryer-hose an stick it in the air box were you removed the snorkel, an to make it air tight get some thick scrap carpet padding and rubber cement it between the air box opening and the dryer hose. Then run the other end up to were you removed the rubber flap as close as you can,buy a K&N drop in filter and you are done. PS,you will have to cut and bend the dryer hose to fit. It will be easyer to do if you do it with the box out. It will cost about $60 and take abiut an hour and a half. Let me know what you think, thanks.

Message: I like the appearance and function of my alloy homebrew, and it cost $120 plus K&N drop-in. Pull up "What is the best intake?" on search.

Message: Hey DG
I did basicly the same thing and I did not notice any improvements, but I plan to keep it like it is now.
