Message: What do you guys think about these rotors? Looks to me like Woody Woodpecker got carried away at the CNC machine. Guess there's still a little metal left to contact the brake pad.

Message: I wouldn't put cross drilled rotors on any of my vehicles. They are strictly for looks, and actually degrade braking performance. If I think I need extra cooling, I'll run a cooling duct.
I don't see how they can claim "18-25% more braking power". And FB performance makes transmissions and trans parts. And this seems to be a new vendor with no feed back, registered in Canada. Sounds pretty fishy to me.

Message: Fishy is right, I haven't seen a set of drilled rotors with this many hoooooooooles before.
The holes might add some cooling characteristics to rotors, but I think this guy got carried away. There are a lot of holes and places to start stress fractures in the rotors, not to mention that they are coming from a no name company.
I wouldn't want to bet my life on this set of rotors and who would want to buy a performance product from a fly by night operation?
Joe's Rotor Holes,, How may we help you? lol

Message: The holes are meant to provide an out for any gases that build up at the contact point of the pad and rotor so that the pad is always in contact with the rotor and not slipping on a fews microns thick layer of gases.
However, the outer row of holes looks too close to the outer edge of the rotor and if you've ever seen one of these rotors fail, I've seen plenty, you'll know it takes alot of other stuff with it.
These look like crap.

Mine don't seem to have as many holes as these ones though, and they're not as close to the edge.

Message: Those rotors do look like crap. There are others that look like they were at least professionally done. But the $70 ones look like bubba got real carried away with the drill press.

Message: I just ordered a set. They don't have any more holes then my motorcycle rotors. If they fail, well I guess I'll RAM it, hehe. I doubt they are homemade from another rotor. Crossdrilling isn't as simple as a bit and a file. If they are done by some yahoo and not from a corporation they WON'T be going on my truck and they'll be getting sent right back. I seriously doubt it though.
