Message: I'd recommend swapping the front end with one off of a Dakota for that mini van styled beast, either that or a bumper sticker that says "mini-hemi."

Message: Did anyone else read in the latest MotorTrend about the SUV comparison? I was very suprised how slow the new Hemi powered Durango is, they got a best of 16.11@84 mph! That seems really slow to me for having 345hp!

Message: They would have had better time but like most mini-vans it was chock-full of kids and that extra weight really slows you down!

Message: I was also made sick to my stomach at Motor Trends lethargic, leisurely crawl down the quarter mile in a Hemi Durango. I thought it had
less than 345. I'm pretty sure the power rating
is supposed to be 330. Still, with a 330bhp hemi, shouldn't it at least be able to take the 1st gen
R/T Durango? There is something very fishy going
on here. Maybe it had them old Firestone tires on it and the test driver was afraid of going too
fast on 'em. I think there was bribe money being
passed around or maybe it was towing a yacht with
the anchor out. My dad agreed something was way wrong, but he's one of them people who thinks everything is a conspiracy. Wait! I figured it out! The test driver got confused.(or called in sick that day) That was the 0 to 100 to 0 test.

Message: That also seemed weird to me. Since a 5600lb 2500 Hemi Ram did the quarter and the 0-60 faster than the Durango. The Durango only weighs in around 4800lbs I think. They either misprinted, screwed up the test, or got a really bad test vehichle.
