I saw the new Durango on thursday, damn sweet ride! The previous Durango was derived from the Dakota and the new Durango is a completely new design. Is the next Dakota going to benefit from the Durango redesign, or simply get new sheetmetal? I'd love to have a 5.7LHEMI Dakota.

yeah, '05 dakotas are gonna have the 5.7 hemi as an option- would guess they are gonna hafta do a lil redesign but Im not positive

I saw some sneak peeks of the 2005 dakota and yes a hemi is definately available. It is also gonna cary the similar front end and interior designs but I have not seen the bed yet. Just saw some front and interior pics.
