Subject: MSD IGNITION? IP: Logged
Message: aloha dudes and duddettes,
Do any of yous know if the MSD 6AL ignition control will work on my 2000 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L engine? it has alot of mods both in and out. I need to know if it fits and if it does do you have the wiring diagram? any help is appreciated.

Message: The only extra feature the 6AL gives over the 6A is a rev limiter ,if you don't need that ,just get the 6A and save a few$$$.

Message: Put a MSD 6A in my v-6 dak a week or so ago..
Easy install..just some cut and splice..
also got the 8910Tach adapter{was getting a engine light}

Message: As far as I know the MSD6AL or 6a will work on any vehicle there is as long as it has a coil, and 4,6,or 8 cylinders. Just a simple cut of two wires and some splicing. Really really easy. and if you have an after market Tach you can plug it straight into the MSD box.
