Has anyone made or bought an in-car camera mount for their truck? I am gettin ready to rig somehting up, and I'm lookin for some ideas.

Ive seen people mount it to the sliding back window. Like with clips or something. Im gonna try this:
Put the cam on a tripod ,put in the passenger seat , adjust height , direction etc. then saran wrap the hell out of it in place.
Id do a dashboard mount but cant figure how to do it. Big velcro strips I guess would work. Let us know what you come up with.

what about some sort of adhesive you could put a velcro patch on the dash then remove the camera when your done and replace it, turnit around etc. The problem will be finding a glue that wont melt youyr dash so you can peel it off. something like that glue when you get a credit card. its harmless.

the glue really gotta hold the camera down good. The camera could come flying off if you nail it and hook up good.

I had thought about a small cam mount facing forward mounted just in front of the mirror. Attached using a mirror type mount epoxied to the windshield. Very small and inconspicuous.
