I've seen a lot of threads about this but I need some specific info. I have a QC '00 4.7 L. I'm planning on getting a flowmaster muffler...probably one in/two out. What would be good diameter sizes for these pipes from the cat. back? In? Out? Is there any major difference in performance if I opt for a one in/one out muffler v. two out? I know there's a price diff. of about $100 for the guy who is going to do if for me. Please let me know if I'm overthinking this?

I bought the cat-back from Flowmaster. It's a single 3" pipe and it sounds sweet. It came with a 50 series muffler. If I were to do dual out, I'd get the 40 series w/ Delta flow and 2 1/2 inch duals. If you go to big you'll lose back pressure. You can always get tips from 2 1/2 to 3"... thats my .02
