i think its funny that i read their message board, and ALL of them say theyve never had a problem with an R/T... well... ive never had a problem with a chevy truck... ever. i always found that funny whenever i venture off into another website filled with ignorant banter.

Well to be honest a kinda agree with them a little i have a 2000 5.9 durango mods to the teeth,,,, i also have a 2001 5.3 ECSB 4x4 silverado with only headers,cold air and catback THE CHEVY IS MORE POWERFUL..
heck with all the mods on my 5.9 durango i can barley pass my neighbors stock 2002 chevy truck with the 5.3
i blame the MOTHERF#$@$%#^%^&ING(*&^%^*&^ cream puff sissys at dodge for making underpowerd gas guzzlers and for making the PCM almost impossible to tune...

what do you mean the PCM is impossible to tune? I can think of at least 3 places off the top of my head that will make a pcm ANY WAY you want. a little more digging and im positive I could find at least a dozen more.
what mods does your durango have, by the way...?

The only chevys I have had trouble with are Camaros. The Chevy trucks have no torque. Did you see that one guys numbers were 270hp and 261tq? Lightnings are fast but that Harley F150 is an expensive POS. I love when they try and race me.

I've never had a problem with a Chevy truck unless it was heavily modded. I too, have a 2000 5.9 Durango 2wd and have never lost to any Chevy..yet. A guy in my town has a new Silverado with a 5.3 lowered with 20's like mine with cold air intake,Hypertech, and some other mods and I bet him every time by a car length. I don't think my Durango is the fastiest thing on the road but it isn't the slowiest. I run a 15.8 at 90 mph in the quarter which is fast for over 5000lbs. I have no computer mods just Fastman TB,Accel ignition,3 inch Dynomax catback,Shift kit,"homemade" cold air intake,and thats it.
