Message: Well it from most of the vehicles I'v seen it does take alittle bit more work, it seems, to get an R/T to run in the 12's/11's range... but one thing is for sure, and you "big_torque" have to admit as well, the R/T has an engine much more ideal for running those 11's and 12's than that glorified econo integra engine.

Message: Blackratz... Couple things we need to get straight. The MSRP on my Cobra was 34,7, your trying to justify spending 90 grand on a car that barely makes over 250RWHP and might be able to put down lap times just short of the 50 thousand dollar Z06.
Also, I didnt say I raced an NSX, I just mentioned in that article about the Integra Type-R that it goes on about how it has all of this Vtec crap derived from the NSX like it was supposed to impress somebody.
My best to date in my Bone stock Cobra is a 12.6 @ 110mph. (Just to give you an idea, the best recorded 1/4 results for an 03 Cobra is 12.4 @ 111) So far Iv dynoed with nothing more than a K&N 382RWHP 388RWTQ. As soon as I get my 2.90 non slip pulley, and Diablo sport racing chip tuned, based off the average chip and pullied 03 should put me around 440 to 450RWHP. Pulley and chip, a combined wopping grand total of 700 bucks in bolt ons gets this car in the 11's. With a suspension that responds just as well to modifications, I'd say I feel that I'v more than justified spending 35 thousand dollars on this car.
(Everything you need to know, before flapping your gums about something you havent even the slightest clue, about. http://www.alfageek.com/03faq.htm)
P.S. Ill show you a couple vids 1 is a bone stock 03 Cobra running it up to its stock limiter (155), and the other is a bolt on 03 Cobra doing 160+. As soon as I find someone to host em ill make sure to show you.
I didnt know there were still so many people in the dark about this car :^\. Ill bet you didnt even know it comes stock with all forged internals, manley conn rods, and iron block to support its supercharged water to air intercooler setup.
Here's some pics of mine:

Message: Also, about your friends Integra, those things only run high 14's stock, so me beating one in my R/T is more than realistic, esspecially with the mods I have listed.
As far as your friend "T R" (not to be confused with the infamous Turbo Regal Buicks) would have to have spent one hell of a pretty penny to get it to run 0-155 in 18 seconds with that little 1.7 liter 4 banger its pushing. Thing about it is, the stock Integra Type-R starts to wind out around 130. Its not like its electronically limited either, the thing is literally at its limits at that speed (in stock form). All I can give your friend, if he has really acheived 155mph behind the wheel of an integra, is he has himself some balls for being able to pull it off under the influence of FWD.

Cobras are nice cars, I would buy it over an acura any day, I will be looking foward to seeing your videos... 12 sec is pretty fast stock....

http://www.suprascene.com/tmp/fullout.wmv
http://www.suprascene.com/tmp/holysh!t155.mpg
(replace the ! in Sh!t with an (i) so it'll work)
Anyway the fallout one is a bolton Pulley and chipped 03 Cobra with a CAI starting from 0 and running all the way up to 160 and doesnt even get to use 6th gear, the holysh!t video is a stock 03 Cobra running from 70 to 155(its limiter)
Its cool blackratz, and I admit I do get carried away sometimes. I was just saying IMO I dont see how the NSX is worth 90 thousand dollars... I shouldnt attack it so rash, for they are nice cars behind the price tag. As far as that Integra I raced in my R/T, that had to be a stock one, like I said with my shaker and PCM, I was pulling away from the guy slowy but surely. Wasnt a super impressive walk, I had hoped for more from my truck, but that little integra did surprise me thats for sure.
